This website is no longer in use. It is only available as reference to KLV's year of jubilee in 2011.
In 2011 KLV celebrated its 125th anniversary. The main theme of the anniversary year was: 'How to feed our world?'. During the year, conferences and other activities were held from Brazil to China. The main conference, which took place on 10 November 2011 in Wageningen, was the apotheosis of a crowdsourcing process.
More information (reports and presentations) on our past jubilee activities is online available on the main website of KLV.

Climate Neutral Jubilee
Most of the jubilee meetings, eg. the Main Conference will be climate neutral: CO2 emissions, caused by participants' travel and energy consumption during the events, will be fully compensated.
This is part of the aim of KLV to avoid CO2 emissions and to offset them where they are unavoidable. The activities will be compensated by investing in forestry and sustainable energy projects. We will keep you updated on progress on this count.
For the jubilee year, the theme is 'How to feed our world?', a theme that lies at the heart of the mission of our university. Moreover, a perennial question that we believe is of interest for all alumni regardless of age. The theme consists of several sub questions.
We are looking for your input to shape the conferences. Share your knowledge and ideas with us and help us determine what the leading topics of our jubilee conference should be.
